Thankfulness and 46/52

We have had such a GREAT week.  It's been wonderful to have 9 days off to spend with family and friends.  We enjoyed Thanksgiving day with our families, and had lots of time to do fun things through the week.  We got all of our Christmas decorations up and our Georgia tree looks awesome!
Tomorrow we go back to the daily grind.  Of course we are not ready, but there's only a few more weeks until we get another break for Christmas.  We can't wait!!

Through the Years

Two posts in one week!  I'm on a roll!  HA!  Actually, I'm just off work this week, and have a little more time for things like catching up on blog reading and blogging.  This is just a quick picture post, but as I was looking back over some old pictures I found this first one.  It's Hudson when he was 3 months old on his first Thanksgiving.  I can't even believe that he looked like that.  I don't think this looks anything like him.

Thanksgiving 2009
I can't believe how much he grew up in just one year.  This next picture is so precious to me because he still had the baby look with those delicious cheeks.

Thanksgiving 2010

Last Thanksgiving was so much fun and Hudson had a great time spending the week with Ella.  We will miss her so much this year, but can't wait to see her in a few weeks.

Thanksgiving 2012

I'm so thankful to have my sweet boy.  We are beyond blessed to be his parents.  I just love these sweet little hand/finger print turkeys that Hudson made at school.

I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving.  We sure did.  We have so much to be thankful for.

45/52

Thanksgiving Break....Need I say more?!?!!  It is so nice to be sitting here on a Sunday night, and not having to run around getting lunches, outfits, and lesson plans ready for the week.

45/52..I'm so thankful for Jennifer and that she was able to go to Hudson and Claire's Thanksgiving Feast at their school on Thursday.  She sent me these pictures, and it makes me so happy to see Hudson enjoying himself and having fun with all of his friends.  I'm also thankful for his teacher who has been such a blessing to us this year.  We could not have hand picked a better person to be Hudson's first school teacher.  Lastly, I'm thankful for the "Party Moms" who did such a good job with this little "Feast" for the kids.   I'm excited about being a "Party Mom" for upcoming celebrations in their classroom.

44/52

44/52...This week's photo of the week is from the Teacher of the Year Banquet on Friday night.  It was fun to celebrate with my great friend, Michelle.  She deserves her title, and looked great at the banquet.  I love this picture of Michelle, Kathryn, and I.  These gals make work so much more fun.  Congrats, Michelle!!!

We are having a good weekend, and even have one more day off.  We are so thankful for all of the Veterans who have put their lives on the line as they serve our country.  Today is Veteran's Day, but our school system is closed tomorrow in honor of the holiday.  I'm looking forward to another day with my sweet boy, then four work days, and off for a week to celebrate Thanksgiving.

43/52

We had our Fall/Christmas photo session today with my friend Laura of The Freckled Spot Photography, and while her pictures that she took of my Huddy Buddy are 100 times better than these, I snapped these while we were playing around down at the canal after our photo session.  I mean really....how grown does my boy look??!!?!?  This growing like a weed thing needs to stop!

Howdy Partners! Halloween 2012

Halloween 2012 is in the books.  We had a great time celebrating with our friends and being together as families.  Hudson and Ila Jane decided back in June that they were going to be Woody and Jesse from Toy Story.  They were the cutest little duo ever!

Claire was so beautiful dressed as Ariel.  These two were so PROUD of their costumes.  They were precious as they waited for the others to get to the "party".
Woody taking Ariel for a spin.

 Hudson with his girls
Hudson, Brynlee, Braeden, Claire, Ila, Carter, and Barrett...
 and baby Charlotte
We almost had the complete cast from Toy Story...
They were so fun trick-or-treating this year.  It was kind of sad because they didn't need our help anymore.

Hudson loves Mr. Barrett, and he was glad that he could catch a ride when he got tired of walking.
