The weeks seem to be running together, but we have been enjoying our time this Christmas.  It was so good to have Uncle Lee home for a few days.

 I just love this picture of H when he got his first glimpse at his gifts on Christmas morning.

This is typical behavior when I am trying to get him to sit still for 2.5 seconds so that I can snap a picture.

Anyone who has followed this blog for any length of time knows that I like comparison posts.  Since I am on break, and Hudson has been taking long afternoon naps, I've been able to catch up on blogging.  I love looking back at these pictures of Christmases past.

More Christmas Fun

Ok, so this is more of a "photo dump".  We have had some fun memories over the past few weeks that I wanted to be sure to post.  We had a good time at our Christmas party with our wonderful friends...

 We are so blessed to have these sweet babies.  They are all truly gifts and we are so grateful for them.

 The kids had a book exchange.  They were so excited about giving a book to their friends, and super excited about opening their books too.

This was taken one morning before these two headed to school.  They were in the Christmas spirit.  I can't believe that we are half way through their first year in school.  It makes me sad to think about it.  

 

We saw Santa one more time.

This was at my school on Polar Express Day.  My friend Michelle and I joined in on the fun.  This is always such an exciting day for the kids and one that they remember for years. 

 We went to see Megan perform in "The Little Mermaid".  The show was great!  She was so sweet to take a picture with H and C after the show.

 Hudson's Christmas party at school was lots of fun.  I was SO excited to be able to attend since I was already out for Christmas break.

 It's been REALLY cold here for the past few days, so we let H open up his new jacket a little early. 

We are so glad to be on Christmas Break and so excited about Christmas.

I have lots of cute pictures from some fun things that we did over the week and weekend.  I'll share those later.  Tonight I just want to post a picture of my little guy.  Why?  I'm so thankful for him.  My heart still hurts so bad for the little kids who went through the unthinkable on Friday.  It makes me literally sick to think of the horror they must have felt during those final minutes of their lives.  My heart breaks for the ones who will forever live with the images and sounds of that day.  Our entire nation is grieving with the town in CT., and this incident really hits home to those of us who stand in front of a class full of innocent children on a daily basis.
I'm thankful and blessed to have my little angel sitting in our den right now, watching Toy Story in front of our Christmas tree.

Two firsts this weekend...Hudson sang in church with the preschoolers for the first time, and we went to a Christmas party where he created his first gingerbread house...I love Christmastime!

I can never decide on just one Christmas card each year, so if you know me or if you've followed my blog for the past few years, you know that I always do a couple of different Christmas cards.

Hudson, Mom, and I went to Alabama this past weekend to visit with family.  We didn't make the trip for Thanksgiving, so it was so good to be able to go.  Prattville had their Christmas parade on Saturday evening and it was so much fun.  It was a great parade.  Hudson was so glad to see Ella and they had so much fun together.  We saw Santa at Bass Pro shop which is our favorite place to see him.  Their decor and background is so pretty.  The only bad thing about the weekend is that it went by too quickly.
