Spring Update

Wow! I've been slack!  It's been almost a month since I've blogged.  Oops!  I guess that tells you how busy we have been.  Here's a small update for now.  I will post more later. 

We had a good Spring break and Masters week.  We went to some of the local events including the Par 3 party with live bands and fireworks. 

We went to the zoo, and it was a perfect day.  The weather was warm and a little overcast.  We had a great time.  Hudson has been asking to go back ever since.

While Dave was at the Masters on Saturday with Jarvis, Hudson and I spent some time hanging out with Erin and Ila Jane.  The kids had a good time on a bike ride and making a cake.  We are so excited for Erin to have baby Callie Ann soon.

My friend Laura from The Freckled Spot Photography did Spring pictures for us.  Here are a few of my favorites.  

We were very excited as we watched and cheered for Adam Scott to win the Green Jacket at the 2013 Masters Tournament.  It was an exciting finish that went into extra play.  The rain made the course extra tough, but the finish between Scott and Cabrera was a great display of sportsmanship.  Hudson sported his new blue Masters shirt at church on Masters Sunday.

As we count down the days until the end of the school year, we are coming close to the end of soccer season.  We have a few more games left, and my little man's first season will be in the books.  I have lots of pictures and videos from soccer that I will upload into a different post.

Of course, Hudson has been having a good time hanging out with his buddies.  He loves baby Brantley, Charlotte, and Claire so much.  They are all growing so fast, and I love the bond that they share.  It's a special one that I am so grateful that he has. 

Hudson caught his first fish with Papa at Aunt Marie's grandparents lake house.  We had a great time hanging out there one Saturday.  The friends, food, fellowship, and fishing were all top notch!

Lastly, to get you caught up to date, we went to the monster truck show last weekend.  If you know anything about Hudson, you know he LOVES monster trucks.  We had a good time with Uncle Matt, Aunt Trish, Owen, and Joshua (and J's friend).

There are only a few more weeks of school for H and for me.  I can't wait.  Pretty soon you will be able to find us at the pool!!!
