Masters Week 2013

It's that time of year again!  Masters week is here.  It's our favorite time of year here in the Garden City.  Eyes from all over the nation are on our town, Augusta, Ga.  Everything is perfectly landscaped, and LOOOOOTTTSSSS of money is flying around in restaurants, shops, and mostly at the Augusta National.  The National is unlike any other golf course.  It's simply beautiful.  The southern charm and warm weather make this week such an exciting time for visitors and locals alike.
You know me and my comparison pictures...
Here's Hudson during Masters 2010 (top), Masters 2011 (middle), and Masters 2012 (bottom).  This kid was lucky enough to get to go to the course last year.  I can't wait to get some pictures in his new Masters digs from this year.  I'll post those later in the week.

What a difference 3 years makes

Look at how much these babies have grown!

Easter 2013

We had a nice Easter this year, and I'm so glad that it didn't fall during Masters week.  For the past few years, Easter has been the Sunday before or the Sunday of Masters.  I feel like the true meaning gets so overshadowed by the tournament when that happens.  It was our Sunday to teach Hudson's class, and the kids warmed my heart so much.  It was so precious to hear those 3 year olds telling the true Easter story.

I loved my little guy in his bow tie. Thank goodness for You Tube and the explicit instructions on how to tie that thing!
