DAWGS beat Gators!!! and 42/52

Anyone who says it's just a game has obviously never been to a GA/FLA showdown.  Although it's been several years since I've been to Jacksonville, I must say that this is a game unlike any other rivalry.

I guess I have to admit that I was a little nervous about the game last night.  All that we've heard for weeks is how "great" Fla. is this year, how they are "the real deal", and how "they're back".  Well, NOT LAST NIGHT!!!!
(they really did get sent crying home...their players were in tears after their loss)
It wasn't a pretty game, but a W's a W in the books and that W goes to the BEST team....GEORGIA!  I am SO glad that we beat Fla AGAIN this year.  Their coach is 0-2 against Ga.  Go Dawgs!  I have not posted much about football this season, but I'm proud of the Dawgs for this win.

We watched the game with some friends during our annual Halloween pumpkin carving party.  The kids had so much fun, and so did the adults.

We had another great Fall weekend filled with a pumpkin patch visit, a carnival, and a chili supper with our friends.  I just love this time of year.  We are so blessed to have such great friends to enjoy being with on the weekends.  Hudson is looking forward to Halloween on Wednesday.  I'll be sure to post pictures of him in his costume this week.

Why Can't Weekends Last Longer?...and 41/52

We had SUCH a great weekend.  We headed out of town on Friday with our great friends, and spent the weekend with them. We took the kids to the Rock Ranch, and let me tell you...if you live anywhere in GA and have never been, you need to go!  It was so much fun. Truett Cathy, who is the founder of Chick-fil-A owns it, and it's gorgeous, and tons of fun.  You could easily spend a whole day there.  We enjoyed our time with our friends so much, and had such a blast.
This morning, we headed down to good ole' south Georgia (I love S. GA!) to ride on Thomas the Train.  We went to celebrate cousin Owen's 3rd  birthday.  The boys had a great time, and even got to meet Sir Topham Hatt (sp?).  It was a cute experience, and Aunt Trish made Hudson the best goodie bag that he enjoyed all the way back home.
I just wish weekends didn't fly by.  Hudson is at SUCH a fun age, and we had a great time this weekend.  I'm sad to see it go.  Can't wait until the next one!

41/52..I know this is photo overload, but I want to remember all these fun memories that were made this weekend.

Perfect October Weekend and 40/52

This weekend has been so refreshing.  After Hudson being sick for a week, and me being sick for the past week, we have not felt like doing much of anything.  I began running fever last Saturday, and thought that I just had the same "viral" thing that H was recovering from.  By Thursday, I was still running fevers and feeling AWFUL, so I finally bit the bullet and went to the doctor.  Glad I did, because I have Bronchitis.  I got lots of meds and started feeling better pretty quickly. I knew I HAD to feel better by Saturday because we had fun plans with lots of our wonderful friends.

We are lucky to have a local Dairy Farm in our town that provides fabulous family fun including a petting zoo, corn maize, zip line, hay ride, corn pit, shows, big slides, a huge jump pillow, pumpkin patch, and all kinds of cool playground equipment.  We look forward to going every year, and each year our group grows larger and larger.  This year we had seven families!  We had such a good time and of course, H took a great nap when we got home.
The weather could not have been better this weekend.  I love October!  There are so many fun things going on.  Next weekend we are going on another fun adventure.  I'll share pics when we are done.
