Snow Days

Just as Hudson was getting over his ear infections and feeling much better, we began to brace ourselves for the big Winter storm that was coming our way. The grocery store was crazy on Saturday afternoon, as everyone tried to stock up on the basics. Here in the south, we don't see these storms very often, so when one is forecasted everyone freaks out.
Sure enough, on Sunday evening it began to snow and snowed through the night. The snow turned to ice, and by Monday afternoon there was a thick layer of ice on top of the snow. Hudson stood at the window when he woke up saying "SNOW, SNOW", so I was excited to take him out in it to play.

He loved it! He smiled the whole time and couldn't quit saying "snow".

He ran and ran.

He had to check everything out.
He had fun making footprints in the snow.
More running.

I was thrilled to have 2 days off to enjoy being home with Hudson and Dave. We even get a 2 hr. delay in the morning so this will be a short week. I'm already looking forward to the weekend so I can enjoy hanging out with my boys some more.
